Here are some frequently asked questions.
DO I HAVE TO BELONG TO YOUR DENOMINATION TO ATTEND?
You are Welcome! In fact, many in our congregation come from a church background other than the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). We are a “patchwork” church – people with different church backgrounds “woven together” by God’s grace.
DOES THIS CHURCH HAVE BUSINESS MEETINGS?
No. Our church is led by a plurality of godly elders who “direct the affairs of the church” in accordance with the Word of God. (See 1 Timothy 5:17.) Responsibilities are delegated to staff members, deacons, church members, etc., under the oversight of the elders.
DO YOU HAVE ONLINE SERVICE ORDER MEETUPS?

HOW ARE YOU HANDLING COVID-19
We are prayerfully considering all of the guidelines set forth by our government officials at all levels and are committed to prioritizing the safety of our community and exercising wisdom.
While we are eager to meet together again in large gatherings, our continuing assessment of public safety and health, as well as the limited number of people that can participate in gatherings, has led us to keeping our buildings closed for now. DO I HAVE TO BE BAPTIZED (BY IMMERSION) TO GET CONNECTED AS A MEMBER OF BEACON LIGHT?
Yes. The Bible says the Lord “added to the church” those who were being saved and baptized. (Acts 2:41 and 47). That’s why, to get connected as a member of Beacon Light, you need to have a personal salvation experience with the Lord and should immediately be obedient to Him in water baptism. (See Acts 8:36-39; 9:17-18; 10:47-48; 16:31-33.)
